A definite creative and ingenious work of art! This brilliant backward heels were designed by Zeynep Baran, a friend of mine and an innovative designer just completed her course at FIT majoring in Fashion Design and Menswear Design. While doing her major, she was also taking interests in shoe and handbag design, toy design, and typography.These shoes won a 2007 award from Arts of Fashion Foundation, is a non-profit public organization dedicated to international cultural exchanges through a variety of events meant to facilitate critical thinking among artists, designers, scholars, and students. The competition was born in 1982 in Japan and was sponsored by Air France. As the reward, Zeynep will be interning at Jean-Charles de Castelbajac for 2 months in Paris. Watta a great achievement!
