O vs Le Reve, both by franco dragone
Even though these 2 are both water shows and seems similar, but to me they are two different shows with different appeals. 'O' is leaning towards achieving fine art-ish approach meanwhile 'Le Reve' is more entertaining. I love 'em both.
Both shows compliment each other to evoke the magnificent mind of its creator, Franco Dragone.

more of cirque du soleil in LV
I spent my last 2 weeks of 2008 in and around Las Vegas. The only thing that make me always want to come back to the sin city is because Cirque du Soleil always adding a new resident shows there.
This time i went to see O and Criss Angel Believe.
O was totally fantastic.. the act, the costumes, the music are all amazing, but Criss Angel Believe was disappointing to me, i only like the big bunny, but the costumes are still excellent!

I got my ticket for Kooza already. Can't wait till it comes in April :)

farewell mr. joe ades...
Captivated by his demonstration, i bought his potato peeler some years ago at the corner of 34th street and 5th avenue, and to my surprised i saw an article about him on vanity fair a few days after. The article featured the story of his life, particularly as a salesman back from he was young and it's totally inspiring. Since then, it seemed that i had spotted him all the time on the streets of NYC, especially around Union Square. He is Mr. Joe Ades, last Sunday he passed away at age 75, one great talent down..
I took these pictures of him last summer ( 2008 )
